The Cape Winelands Full Day Tour leaves Cape Town early morning and takes a scenic drive toward the Boland mountains. This is where to go if you want to explore the Cape Winelands. Our first stop is Stellenbosch Winelands, also known as the “City of Oaks”. Stellenbosch has giant oak trees shading the streets, which are lined with picturesque cafes, boutiques and art galleries. The Cape Dutch architecture dates back to South Africa's Dutch history. We will take a leisurely drive through the town before stopping at Stellenbosch main street for you to explore the picturesque town by foot.
Then follows a short transfer to the home of Pinotage, this wine farm situated on the outskirts of Stellenbosch, is steeped in a history dating back to 1692. Nestled in the foothills of the idyllic Jonkershoek Valley the 325 year old Lanzerac Wine Estate is synonymous with old-world charm and rich Cape heritage. You will be treated with a selection of five Premium wines paired with five selected chocolates.
Our next destination to follow is the Paarl wine region with a stop at one of the most popular Cape winelands destinations, Fairview wine & cheese vineyard.The Fairview Cheesery produces a range of over 50 cow’s milk and goat’s milk artisanal cheeses. Your wine tasting has been expertly paired with a selection of six Fairview cow and goat's milk cheeses.
The route to our final destination and last tasting of the day will take us along majestic mountain ranges and picturesque vineyards with Cape Dutch gabled homesteads.
