The Cape Agulhas Lighthouse is situated at the southernmost tip of Africa. It was the third lighthouse to be built in South Africa, and the second-oldest still operating, after Green Point lighthouse. The desolate barren surrounding call to mind the hazardous sea voyages. This coastal stretch known as a ships graveyard rapidly changing weather conditions and mountainous swells have claimed many ships. Many items from these shipwrecks such as anchors, cannons and coins are exhibited in the Shipwreck museum at Bredasdorp
On our 2 days Safari we go as far as the Cape Agulhas, we visit the #Cape Agulhas lighthouse as well as the Shipwreck museum.
